Check a QR code before you act on it.
QR Trust decodes any QR code on your iPhone and, if it's a web link, checks it against known malware and phishing sources before you open it. Nothing opens by itself — you decide what to do.

Does QR Trust open links for me?
No. It decodes the code and shows you a safety assessment. Opening a link is always your choice.
What does a "verdict" mean?
Web links get one of: likely safe, unknown (caution), suspicious, or malicious. "Unknown" is never treated as safe — if a link can't be verified, QR Trust tells you plainly.
What about Wi‑Fi, contact, or passkey codes?
They are recognized and explained, but never acted on automatically.
Is my scan history private?
Yes. Your history stays on your device, and any Wi‑Fi passwords or sign‑in codes are kept in the iOS Keychain. You can delete history at any time in the app.
